BRITE® COMPOSITE DECKING 15 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Brite Manufacturing Inc. (hereinafter The Manufacturer") warrants that Brite Composite Decking products will not split, splinter rot for a period of fifteen (15) years.
This Limited Warranty period of 15 years from the original date of purchase covers replacement of defective parts during the first 6 years of ownership. In years 7-15, the warranty is prorated and to receive replacement parts claimants must pay an amount equal to 10% of the purchase value per year for years 7-16 (e.g. year 8 claim = 2 years beyond 6th year x 10% x deck value).
Exposure to chemicals, soiling including ground dirt, berry stains, rust, grease or burned in stains, are not covered by this warranty. The manufacturer shall not be liable or responsible for variations in the color or surface texture from board to board. Boards will vary in appearance in the same manner as wood.
The Limited Warranty does not cover material contraction or expansion, damage caused by structural movement, distortion, collapse or settling of the ground on which the material is installed. Painting or staining voids all warranty conditions.
Failure to install the product as per the instructions in this installation guide and as per your local building code will make the warranty null and void. As stated in the installation guide, the product must be installed on no more than 16” spaced joists for normal installation and no more than 12” spaced joists for diagonal installation.
The Manufacturer's liability is limited to the replacement of defective product only by substituting Brite Manufacturing Inc. product. This Limited Warranty cannot be modified in any way without written consent from a Brite Manufacturing Inc. signing officer.
This Limited Warranty is non-transferable from person to person or location to location.
The Limited Warranty supersedes all previous warranties and is subject to changes which are always accessible by visiting www.britemfg.com.
The aforementioned Limited Warranty is subject to any specific rights you may have, which will vary from state to state or province to province.

The Manufacturer reserves the right to investigate any claims. The Manufacturer is not responsible or liable for any labor, and/or other incidental expenses such as freight, taxes, etc. incurred by providing replacement product. The Manufacturer shall not be liable for any incidental, punitive, or indirect damages of any kind whatsoever.
The provisions contained in the Limited Warranty with regard to Brite Composite Decking products represent the only warranty of the Manufacturer and no other warranty or condition, statutory or otherwise, shall be implied.
Limitations:
This warranty does not provide protection against any failure or damage caused by situations & events including but not limited to:
- Misuse, abuse, neglect or improper handling or storage.
- Improper installation or installation not in strict adherence to Brite Manufacturing's written instructions.
- Impact of foreign objects, fire, earthquake, flood, lightning, hail, hurricane, or other casualty or act of God.
- Movement, distortion, collapse, or settling of the ground or structure on which the product is installed.
- Any other cause not involving manufacturing defects in the material.
Other Conditions
The Manufacturer does not recommend this product for all end use applications. This product is intended for deck, boardwalk and piers. Local Code Authority should be consulted before installation of structures with specific load bearing capacities or other zoning code requirements. This 15 year Limited Warranty is valid on single-family, residential applications only. THE WARRANTY STATEMENTS CONTAINED IN THIS 15 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTIES EXTENDED BY BRITE MANUFACURING, IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. AND THE PROVISIONS OF THIS WARRANTY SHALL CONSTITUTE THE ENTIRE LIABILITY OF BRITE MANUFACTURING AND THE PROPERTY OWNER'S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY. BRITE MANUFACTURING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO THE PROPERTY OWNER FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS PRODUCT.
WARRANTY PROCEDURE DETAILS
If you suspect you may have defective product, you must supply to us the following 3 items,
- Your bill of sale
- Photographs showing the issue as well as an overall view of the product in question
- Your full name, address and telephone number

E-mail at SRobinson@britemfg.com. Please limit the size of photos to 100 kilobytes. A photocopy of the bill of sale is acceptable.
